Our commitment to your privacy
Good Guy Rx is a technology platform that connects you with licensed healthcare providers and independent, state-licensed pharmacies. Your protected health information (PHI) is held by the providers and pharmacies who treat and dispense to you, in accordance with HIPAA and applicable state law. We facilitate that relationship; we do not provide medical care.
How PHI is used and disclosed
- For treatment by your provider and dispensing by the fulfilling pharmacy.
- For payment processing tied to the prescriptions you authorize.
- For healthcare operations including provider quality review and pharmacy compliance.
- As required by law, including reporting adverse events to the FDA where applicable.
Your rights under HIPAA
- The right to access your medical records and a copy of this notice.
- The right to request amendments to your medical records.
- The right to an accounting of disclosures of your PHI.
- The right to request restrictions on certain uses and disclosures.
- The right to receive confidential communications.
- The right to file a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
How to file a complaint
